I started making these muffins because I was frustrated.
As a mom of three boys, I’m constantly feeding kids. And every time I looked for snacks, it was the same thing — either packed with sugar, full of ingredients I couldn’t pronounce, or something that wouldn’t keep them full for more than ten minutes.
I wanted something simple. Something with real ingredients. Something with protein so it would actually fuel them.
So I started messing around with recipes in my kitchen.
After a lot of trial and error, I landed on what are now the Mini Muscle Muffins. They’re naturally sweetened with dates, made with ingredients like almond flour, hemp seeds, and flax, and each little muffin has about 3 grams of protein.
Those ingredients also bring a lot more to the table than just flavor — omega-3s, fiber, and protein that help fuel growing kids instead of just giving them a sugar crash.
They’re simple, they’re nutritious, and most importantly — my boys actually love them.
That’s how they started. Just a mom trying to make a better snack for her kids.
